This is not too bad. The minimum for me usually is 2,000 for an essay...minimum! and that's for relatively easy classes. Wait until you have to write at least 3,000 words .... this is when I literally sit & stare at the monitor for 2 hours, having absolutely no idea what else to write. I hate this system, to be honest.

I know it's not that bad. But when the topic is so stupid and you don't have much to say it really sucks.
OMG no. 3000 words sounds really scary.. However it really depends on a topic.. and your relation to it. but yeah.. that is a lot =(
Actually I like writing essays. Sometimes it's better than making presentations or other weird stuff..

3rd year, so just one more to go. I'll have a BA in psychology, but I will probably stay for 1 semester longer and get a minor in Political Science as well.

I see.. that's the same with me. that's why I keep dreaming of having a higher education in music as well.. hopefully I will be able to provide it to myself by the time I have my BA in Japanese and Linguistics.
